I've got good news and bad news. The bad news is that most of the money you or anyone else has spent on change initiatives has been squandered. The good news is that we have learned from our mistakes and can offer some new approaches that will begin to reverse that trend.

Music has been central to my life. I have learned more lessons from playing music than from almost any other domain of experience. Here is the first of my posts on lessons we can learn from jazz.
Last week I attended a wedding out here in Marina del Rey. The setting was beautiful, right on the Pacific, the weather perfect, the gathering joyful. After the ceremony we gathered on a patio for hors d’oeuvres where a jazz trio was playing, piano, bass and sax. And they were good, really good.
Sword Form uses the same principles as Tai Chi, but with a wooden sword. The effect of the sword is remarkable, as it extends the feeling of the flow of energy out beyond the tips of my fingers out to the tip of the sword.
